Question by ZJP: How do I fill out a Promissory note for a Stafford Loan?
I’m looking at my student aid requirements, and I need to fill out an MPN for my Stafford loan. My Mom already did one for the Direct PLUS loan, so… dwhen I go to the Website for the MPN< do I choose "Fill out new MPN for a student loan"?

I just signed up for college and my enrollment couselor told me when I signed my FAFSA electronically-I acknowlege that I just automatically signed on the dotted line for any loans I get. I was given the paperwork for the stafford loan for my review and was told not to sign it or send it in-the school will try to get me the loans I qualify for and the total amount from all the loans I get toward college tuition is pulled together as 1 big lump sum-so when it comes to paying the loans back-its one payment made per month the the DOE which spreads it out to each lender. Lets say I get full funding plus extra for my student expenses, books, pencils, paper ect ect-to the amount of $ 16,500. I then pay 389 back per month after college-that 389 get divided up and paid through DOE to all my lenders. You will have to call your Financial Aid department of your college to find out more.

Pick up your phone, call your financial aid office, ask them. Easy.
